Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Touring Production Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the financial aspects of multiple touring shows, working closely with both our Touring and Finance teams. You will be responsible for developing and managing project budgets, tracking expenses, preparing financial reports, and supporting various financial tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage budgets for specific touring shows.
  • Monitor project budgets to ensure costs remain within approved limits.
  • Track, review, and approve all project-related expenses.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including cost reports, cash flows, budget vs. actual reports, and project profitability analyses.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual project costs.
  • Manage project billing, including sending invoices and ensuring timely payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contract terms.
  • Assist with external audits as needed.
  • Review and understand contract terms to ensure financial compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address financial issues related to contracts.
  • Communicate financial information clearly to project managers, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Provide regular updates on project financial status.
  • Record and report royalties to licensors.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Required Qualifications, Skills, And Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, cost accounting, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Location

This position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone. Some travel may be required.
