Senior Accountant - Quick-Service Restaurant Operations

Description

We are seeking a talented Senior Accountant to oversee the financial and administrative activities of a dynamic quick-service restaurant operation with multiple locations. In this role, you will be a key player in our accounting team, responsible for managing a range of vital tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries for the general ledger
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile daily store sales and deposit activities
• Manage accounts payable and oversee monthly financial close and reporting
• Provide support for auditors as needed
• Take on special projects as assigned
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong understanding of GAAP and experience with accounting software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Sage Intaact
• Familiarity with QuickBooks Pro Plus 2023
• Knowledge of banking systems and cash management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry is a plus
• Ability to effectively interact with various personnel, owners, and external organizations
• Strong technical knowledge in accounting theory, principles, and methods

• Competitive salary: \(55,000 - \)65,000, depending on experience
