About The Role

We are seeking a talented and self-driven Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic Public Utility team, serving the majority of Michigan’s 10 million residents. This role is crucial in assisting the Product Marketing Manager in deploying product marketing strategies that drive product growth and exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the timely execution of marketing activities, including advertising, direct marketing, sales promotions, events, and sponsorships.
  • Collaborate with the Product Marketing Manager and agencies to develop Go-To-Market plans, Communications Plans, and Creative & Messaging Concepts that align with product value propositions, goals, and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with agency partners and Product Owner groups to execute marketing activities effectively.
  • Develop reports and presentations for post-campaign analysis, including recommendations for future improvements.
  • Manage marketing projects within the company’s project management system, from entry to trafficking.
  • Submit and coordinate identified research or data requests, gathering required business information.
  • Compile and process financial information such as invoices and budget spreadsheets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Communications, Business, or a related field, with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent program/project management skills, with proven experience in marketing communications and coordination of creative content.
  • Ability to coordinate efforts across different teams to achieve positive results.
  • Superior analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and independently take the initiative to solve problems.
