Description

Are you passionate about supply chain security and regulatory compliance? In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the safety and integrity of our supply chain while managing compliance with regulations and certification requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on global operations and drive innovative security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive security programs for CTPAT, AEO, and Dangerous Goods to ensure adherence to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, IATA standards, and Hazmat requirements.
  • Certification Management: Lead efforts to secure and maintain CTPAT Trade Compliance certification and support other sites in achieving and retaining AEO certification.
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supply chain. Stay updated on CTPAT guidelines and international trade regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Training & Awareness: Create and deliver engaging training programs for employees on supply chain security and best practices, fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of security activities, audits, and training. Prepare and submit reports to CBP and other regulatory bodies as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance security processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Explore new methods and technologies to improve program outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments like Logistics, Compliance, and IT to integrate security and dangerous goods requirements into business operations. Coordinate with external partners to ensure their compliance with security standards.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 10+ years in global supply chain security, trade compliance, and dangerous goods management, with a strong background in implementing and managing such programs.
  • Certifications: Certified License Customs Broker and Certified Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) professional preferred.

  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
