The Role: Head of Product, Regulatory & Compliance
 

The Team: The Enterprise Solutions business within S&P Global Market intelligence provides buy-side, sell-side, and corporate clients with industry-leading software, data and services.

Our Regulatory & Compliance ecosystem is comprised of products that help our customers manage complex compliance & regulatory requirements as well as client lifecycle workflows.

  • Client Lifecycle: Provides automated and configurable solutions to centralize end-to-end client lifecycle processes for brokers, custodians, corporates, fund admins, buy sides, investors, and service providers.
  • Regulatory Solutions: Suite of solutions helping market participants to make regulatory elections, declarations, and securely permission regulatory information to their trading counterparties.
  • Documentation Solutions: Helping clients to manage all aspects of the documentation lifecycle, from creation to data extraction and utilization of that data to increase process automation.
  • Outreach 360: Platform designed to tackle the intricate challenges of client outreach and communication essential for regulatory updates, client lifecycle events, due-diligence, and data gathering.
  • Managed Services: Assist clients with scalability challenges, the ability to utilize our Data, Technology, and services to manage complex regulatory engagements.


Position:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Product Management to lead the Regulatory & Compliance product team. To be successful in this role, a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of both product management and client lifecycle and regulatory services will be required. To ensure our product offerings meet the evolving needs of clients while maintaining our position as market leaders, the ideal candidate will drive strategic vision, product development, and execution. This role has significant visibility with senior leadership and will manage a team of seasoned product professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the overall business goals and objectives and communicate strategy to organizational leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Product Roadmap: Define and manage the Regulatory & Compliance product roadmap, including prioritization of features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business value.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, expand, and improve a high-performing global product team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Product Planning and Definition: Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high quality product definition artifacts including define product briefs, workflow maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the product meets the needs of the target market. Close engagement with Reg & Compliance clients and internal commercial teams to validate product definitions.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and marketing to ensure timely and successful product releases.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Significant experience from a market-leading enterprise software vendor of front-office solutions
  • Experience in Regulatory/Compliance and/or Client Lifecycle products strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex products through their lifecycle.
  • Experience leading and inspiring high-performing global teams, including the ability to foster collaboration, facilitate teamwork, and influence internal stakeholders outside of your reporting lines.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Experience developing and executing product roadmaps aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex information and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. CFA, MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000 USD Annual. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
