About The Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment? We're looking for a talented Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is eager to contribute to our financial success. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the effective financial execution of our internal business processes. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed estimates, monitoring contract performance against budget and schedule, and tracking and reporting on performance metrics.

You'll also handle unit cost manufacturing, production cost pools, and monitor material movement to ensure accurate cost allocations. As a crucial member of our team, you'll generate quarterly financial reports and present financial positions to our leadership team. You’ll collaborate with other analysts to identify and standardize best practices, ensuring consistency across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate financial estimates and monitor contract performance against budget and schedule.
  • Track and report on performance variances and develop recovery plans as needed.
  • Manage unit cost manufacturing, production cost pools, and material movement for accurate cost allocation.
  • Create and present quarterly financial reports to the leadership team.
  • Collaborate with analysts to standardize processes and drive consistency across the business.
  • Engage with multifunctional teams to reduce product costs and enhance contract performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and application of Earned Value Management techniques and concepts.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and software, including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently with minimal direction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of experience with a related Master's degree.
  • Prior experience with policies, procedures, and systems in a relevant industry.

Desired Skills

  • Familiarity with relevant systems, practices, and procedures.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a defense contractor environment.
  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and a history of implementing continuous improvements.
  • Experience with proposal support, including running historical actuals and BOE development.
  • Prior experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Existing security clearance is a bonus (Secret level).

  • Compensation: The annual base salary for this position ranges from \(86,700 to \)166,300, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. In major metropolitan areas, the range is \(99,800 to \)187,900.
