About the role

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is crucial to our company's success in the B2B segment by offering essential assistance to the commercial team. This role empowers the broader organization to enhance lead generation and boost conversion rates.

The Inside Sales Representative's responsibilities include pinpointing growth prospects, generating new business leads, and overseeing the pipeline through various methods such as cold calling and emailing. Their efforts aim to identify potential leads and schedule sales calls or visits for Market Managers.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:

  • Conduct outbound communication through cold calling and emails to identify potential leads.
  • Source new sales opportunities by following up on inbound leads.

Sales Organization:

  • Organize and plan meetings, web demos, and visits for Market Manager team
  • Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.

Partnership Closing:

  • Share best practices and recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness in lead generation.

Performance Metrics:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Negotiation Support:

  • Participate in the preparation and handling of negotiations with potential partners.

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with Market Managers, Sales Ops, and the wider Commercial team in daily operations.

Market Insights:

  • Collect market and industry feedback, presenting new business opportunities.

Customer Interaction:

  • Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify business opportunities within the existing customer base (farming).

CRM Management:

  • Process leads from customers within the CRM and ensures Sales Excellence.
  • Perform data entry and updates on CRM tools and other databases.
  • Update the sales pipeline.

Lead Qualification and Pitch Facilitation:

  • Generate a targeted volume of daily cold calls.
  • Qualify leads, identify decision-makers, screen potential partnership opportunities, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in sales.
  • Experience in B2B sales preferably in SaaS, travel, or travel tech industry.
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Strong phone presence with previous experience in high-volume cold calling
  • Customer-oriented mentality with excellent communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Multitasking skills, eager to take on varied tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Tenacity and drive to seek new business opportunities and meet or exceed targets.
  • Passionate, committed, and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Self-motivated and hands-on with a true teamwork mentality.
  • Digital native: fluent in web and digital technologies.
  • Ability to analyze sales figures and write reports.
