Your missions

Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced West Coast Sales Manager to join our team. This role encompasses direct sales, account management, and agent/distributor management within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will focus on selling fillers, upgrades, parts, service, and rebuilds. If you’re a driven sales professional with a background in capital equipment sales, we would be excited to hear from you!

Key Qualifications

  • Proficient in using CRM systems
  • 2-6 years of experience selling fillers or packaging equipment (experience with both would be a plus, but is not required)
  • Proven track record in selling capital equipment

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience selling products or services to beverage, food, and/or household product manufacturers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan, including weekly sales call plans and completed sales call logs
  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities, making sales calls on potential and existing accounts, and promptly following up on all leads
  • Generate leads and qualify new potential accounts through cold calling
  • Build relationships with key personnel within potential and existing accounts, including operations, maintenance, engineering, purchasing, and management
  • Collaborate with and support sales agents and distributors to generate leads and sell fillers
  • Achieve or exceed sales forecasts for units and parts
  • Comply with all Federal commercial processes
  • Utilize our value proposition-based sales approach and Total Financial Impact Model in your daily sales process
  • Write and distribute timely trip reports using our template for all sales calls
  • Document all opportunities, companies, contacts, and customer interactions in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Work cooperatively with other regional sales managers on national account plants and business development projects in your assigned territory
  • Collaborate with our Vice President of Sales to qualify and penetrate new accounts and market segments
  • Manage and conduct sales efforts outside of your assigned territory when necessary
