Network Engineer- Fortinet (AU MSP, Temporary Home-based)

Salary: P115,000 to P130,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• At least 5+ years in a network engineering role
• Previous role with an IT&T System Integrator, Professional Consulting Services, Internet Services Provider or similar organisation.
• Must have current certifications in Fortinet Firewall/SD-WAN (FCSS), FCP (Switching and Wireless) or equivalent certification.
• Industry experience working within the ITIL framework (ITIL certifications highly regarded)

Nice to Have:

• Strong knowledge and industry experience across a range of networking technologies including vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco/Meraki, HP-Aruba, and Palo Alto.

What will you do?

• Collaborating on the planning, design, and implementation of both wired and wireless network solutions, while also assessing and enhancing our existing network infrastructure, both independently and as a part of a team.
• Work together with the Project Management Office and/or Lead Engineer to make sure that our solutions are delivered in harmony with the design, statement of work, and scheduled milestones.
• Collaborate with the Project Management Office to develop project schedules and manage variations.
• You'll be responsible for configuring, testing, and executing the network cutover to make sure our solution is scalable, secure, redundant, and reliable.
• Support our Network Provisioning and Field Services Engineers with WAN Services configuration, testing, and cutover assistance whenever needed!
• Participate in vendor training or undertake self-study to address skill gaps and achieve certifications as instructed by the business.
