Join Tate & Lyle GSS in Łódź as a Financial Analyst! It's a great opportunity for someone who has experience in R2R area, analytical skills, and who is independent in processes.

We’re looking for a person who is responsible for accurate financial information going out from R2R team, prepared in a timely manner. In achieving that the Financial Analyst will maintain comprehensive control’s structure ensuring that reporting end product possess best in class quality. Role will require also constant consideration on process improvement ideas aiming to raise process effectiveness and productivity. Let’s have a look on main responsibilities!

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing month-end-close activities including advanced calculations & analysis for the region in timely and accurate manner
  • Support of most crucial activities in R2R team (e.x. net sales reporting; cost centers allocations)
  • Work closely with finance senior stakeholders, GSS R2R and CoE team to find solutions and explanations
  • Support finance team in building a best practice approach to management reporting and analysis
  • Leverage existing systems/solutions to drive efficiencies in reporting processes and build greater insight into quality of delivered reports
  • Identify automation and process improvement ideas and implement
  • Explain complex issues, ideas and solutions in a simple way, often to non-financial audiences
  • Identifying and investigating problems in PRIME finance platform to provide better reporting and analytics to support management decision making
  • Handling ad-hoc requests
  • Creating analytical models and reports to support decision making, using PowerBI and other analytics tools
  • Driving insightful and value add reporting provoking detailed review of monthly performance

  • Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge based on university degree in Finance Area
  • Three+ years previous experience in controlling or senior GL role gained in an international organisation
  • Experience in SAP, Business Warehouse, Hyperion (PRIME would be an advantage)
  • Advanced level in the use of Excel and other visualisation tools (Power Query, Power BI and VBA would be an advantage)
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
  • Confidence & experience in building financial models and business cases
  • Experience of using analytics to support business decision making
  • Understanding of financial data flows (debits/credits to and from the P&L/balance sheet)
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to see the big picture, countered by attention to detail where and when in matters
  • Experience within the forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Great teamwork and communication skills
