Credit Bureau Reporting Disputes Analyst & Office Manager

Sezzle is seeking a Credit Bureau Reporting Disputes Analyst & Office Manager who will be responsible for managing and optimizing Sezzle’s credit bureau disputes process. You will respond in a timely and compliant manner to all disputes coming through internal channels as well as e-Oscar. You will maintain adherence to all required FCRA and Metro2 guidelines. Additionally, you will also be responsible for ad-hoc projects related to credit reporting as deemed appropriate, as well as for maintaining and improving overall productivity and quality within the scope of work.

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Investigate and respond to disputes submitted by customers through internal channels or on behalf of customers by the credit bureaus 
  • Research, develop and build process improvements for responding credit bureau disputes 
  • Investigate and respond to CFPB, Attorney General, and other state agencies complaints 
  • Lead projects designed to enhance credit reporting and disputes processes 
  • Maintain current knowledge of FCRA, Metro2, and other regulatory guidelines 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years experience in a credit bureau-related role
  • CDIA certification or the ability to obtained one within 90 days
  • Familiarity with Metro2, e-Oscar, and FCRA guidelines 
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to change 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to self-motivate with little oversight 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fintech, banking, or financial services experience 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • CDIA certification 
  • Experience with credit bureau dispute processing with Canada accounts is a plus
  • Fintech, banking, or financial services experience
