Power Systems SME

Overview:

ORAU is partnering with The Nevada National Security Sites to recruit an experienced Power Systems SME to provide support for a comprehensive, Independent Assessment of the NNSS overall power management approach and capabilities consistent with current and projected environments and needs. Detailed assessment of the physical system is not a focus of this assessment, though a general review of power system assets, plans, and conditions may be necessary.  We anticipate this position lasting 2 to 4 months.  This is a remote role and will require travel to Nevada 1 to 2 times during the length of the assignment.  Experience in the commercial power industry to include operating substations and managing linemen and wiremen.
