A Day in the Life of Bookkeeper:
Day to day activity shall include full responsibility of the trial balance of the BU’s entities and bookkeeping activities, including but not limited to payroll, Expenses, banks, employees, AP, AR, and many other interesting activities. The bookkeeping role in TOMIA requires the bookkeeper to act as a key member of the Finance team and work closely with the other team members with “can do” approach. This is a hybrid position.
So, how are we going to keep you busy?
- Perform the day-to-day bookkeeping & accounting work of the Business unit
- Responsible for accounts payable process (booking, payment)
- Oversee company bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, fixed assets, Expense accruals, prepaid expenses and other expenses
- Responsibility for local regulatory submissions to tax authorities in Israel (VAT, Income tax, Social Security (102), Payroll taxes (102),
- Annual austerity submissions such as 856, VAT, 126 and others
- Ensure proper documentation for all invoices, purchase orders, payments, etc. incl. their appropriate approvals
- Owning monthly closing routines (completeness, transitory accounts, accruals, Prepaid, etc.)- Analyzing and reconciliation of all general ledger, banks, prepaid, accrued expenses, fixed assets, intercompany etc
- Manage supplier and customer master data
- Direct communication with vendors on an ongoing basis including AP reconciliation
- Responsibility for AP and Subcontractors payment on monthly basis
- Full responsibility for Trial balances on a monthly basis including reconciliation of each Balance sheet item
- Managing all bank related topics such as payments, reconciliations, reports, and authorization
- Working with payroll agencies of the business unit in Israel and accountability of the payroll process, payslips, payments and employees’ queries.
What will make you eligible for this role?
- Certified bookkeeper (types 2+3).
Experience, that will be an advantage:
- At least 2 years of experience as Bookkeeper.
- Experience working with NetSuite – advantage.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience working at global high-tech company-advantage.
