Texas Security General Insurance Agency seeks a Commercial Lines P&C Account Manager/ Associate for its team in San Antonio, Texas!

This can be a Remote from home opportunity for the right candidate. Must be domiciled in Texas.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Associate’s primary role is to provide assistance to the retail agents, assigned P&C UW and other associates as needed and necessary in timely, efficient, friendly and accurate manner to include timely turn around time on all processing duties all the while playing a supporting role in growing revenues.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Uploads policies, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, invoices and memos and all other functions necessary for the issuance of such while maintaining speed and above all accuracy. 

  • At supervisor’s discretion, may compute rates, endorsements and cancellations. 

  • Team member is to develop a working knowledge of required forms and company guidelines for completion of the appropriate insurance policies. 

  • Team member is responsible for the timely and accurate issuance of all binders for new and renewal P&C business, the timely review and execution of all suspense items and support in providing the highest quality of customer service each and every day via telephone and email requests. 

  • Issue timely and accurate NOC’s as directed by other companies, TSGPF or the Accounting department. Back up for setting up CL submissions as necessary.

WHAT TOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • 1 or more years of insurance industry experience and the ability to obtain a P&C insurance license.

  • Ability to multi-task and perform expectations in a highly stressful environment.

  • Above average communication skills.

  • Ability to proofread and maintain a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to resolve insurance issues and provide solutions for the retail agent.

  • Must be available to work overtime as required by the work flow demand.

  • Professional and friendly attitude and mannerism.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Ability to advance to Underwriter position based upon performance, availability, eligibility and interview by Management.
