Description

SEO Manager
Pay starting at: $78K
Role Description: Lamps Plus, Inc is looking for a savvy SEO Manager/Specialist to head-up optimization efforts in the organic channel space. This would include, but not be limited to content optimization, technical, and store location management, with the primary goal of driving organic traffic growth and conversions to our website, brick and mortar foot traffic as well as potential sales via improved call volume and share-of-voice.
Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and monitor site analytics reports.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze website traffic, track rankings and other natural-traffic KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Draft specifications for SEO-related requirements.
  • Brick and mortar store listings management.
  • Monitor site for issues affecting natural traffic visibility.
  • Manage domain and domain certificates for the company.
Basic Qualifications: 
  • 3-5 years in Search Engine Optimization management role(s).
  • E-commerce/retail optimization experience.
  • Knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4 a plus) and SEO tools such as BrightEdge, Ahrefs, and crawl analysis tools like ScreamingFrog, Deep Crawl, or Botify
  • Proficient at strategic keyword research, and discovering new opportunities to drive traffic.
  • Familiarity with the latest search industry trends and algorithm changes, and aligning current and future projects with those developments.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads is a plus
  • Understand how site architecture affects SEO and assist development projects accordingly.
  • Understand the components of Core Web Vitals, their effect on SEO, and how to improve them.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Schema Markup, and Metadata
  • Ability to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry, develop actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Understand schema.org and how it impacts SEO.
  • Capable of working efficiently with content management systems and content and design teams.
  • Be able to update store location information as needed. Working knowledge of listing tools such as Yext is helpful.
  • Communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of colleagues, from UI designers, and software engineers to paid media and brand marketing team members and senior management.
  • Stay on top of brand sentiment – understand company review platforms and review aggregator services.
  • Perform these and other SEO responsibilities and tasks as necessary to continuously improve SEO results.
