Position Overview

We are looking for a candidate with strong social and leadership skills, a knack for effective negotiation, and excellent organizational capabilities. The ideal candidate should be experienced in developing recruitment strategies to attract and retain top Loan Officer talent. This position is fully remote and open to candidates located throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing Candidates

  • Leverage multiple recruiting channels, including job boards, social media, industry events, and networking to identify potential talent.
  • Build and sustain a network of mortgage industry professionals for recruitment purposes.

Candidate Screening

  • Review resumes and production records to identify suitable candidates who meet job requirements.
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates’ qualifications and interest in mortgage loan officer roles.

Interviewing

  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with qualified candidates.
  • Evaluate skills, experience, and overall fit within the organization.

Assessment And Evaluation

  • Assess candidates' mortgage lending knowledge and relevant competencies.

Reference Checking

  • Verify candidates’ employment history, qualifications, and loan production performance.

Collaboration With Recruitment Managers

  • Work closely with recruitment managers to understand specific needs and requirements for mortgage loan officer positions.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting efforts and Loan Officer pipeline status.

Negotiation And Offer Management

  • Negotiate job offers with selected candidates.
  • Oversee the offer and acceptance process.

Onboarding Assistance

  • Collaborate with the Onboarding Team to ensure a seamless introduction for new mortgage loan officers.
  • Provide support and information to assist new Loan Officers in integrating into the organization.

Maintaining Recruitment Records

  • Keep accurate and current records of all recruitment activities, including candidate profiles and interview notes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of direct Loan Officer recruiting experience managing all aspects of the process.
  • Proactive sourcing approach and strong initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
