Job description

Junior Sales Manager for Northern Europe - SUSTAINABLE SEAFOOD - remote working - full time - English and German speaking The position We are looking for a dynamic Junior Sales Manager to secure new listings for our portfolio of the coolest and most sustainable seafood brands in the world. Our products are already used by the very top chefs and retailers in Europe and we need an enthusiastic sales professional to introduce our seafood to more and more chefs, wholesalers and retailers across Northern Europe.

In this role you will be responsible for both activating new retail and restaurant customers, and managing existing customers across a range of different channels across all the countries in Northern Europe.

About The Company

We are a European importer of sustainable seafood from around the world. Our customer base stretches across the Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK and the rest of Europe, and varies from small distributors to larger retailers. Our supplier partners are "best in class" fishing companies spanning the globe. Our mission is: To bring the world’s finest and most sustainable seafood to the European market. In contrast to the huge volumes of unsustainable and low quality seafood that is currently imported into Europe.

You’ll get the flexibility to either work both from home or meet with colleagues in shared offices. Plus as much travel as you want visiting clients and trade shows.

Also the opportunity to visit our fishery partners around the globe (Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Alaska and Japan) if you have an interest in this. Responsibilities: Drive the Company’s vision and implement the sales strategy for your markets in close collaboration with the Commercial Director. You will be required to exercise strategic thinking to prioritise channels, and specific accounts, and navigate between short & long-term strategic goals Develop proposals and organise collateral to best match the potential customers’ needs. Attend all relevant retailer shows, presentations and demonstrations. Assist the customers’ marketing teams in the best way to convey the story of the SAQUA products

Key Skills Required: English and German speaking - fluent at business level.

Approx 2-3 years experience in the food industry, in a sales capacity focusing ideally on premium food products. Some working knowledge of sustainable food systems, and aquaculture production versus wild catch methods would be nice but is not at all critical.

You'll get: A chance to join a growth company that has emerged as a leader in delivering the finest quality and most sustainable seafood to leading customers across Europe - from Harrods, to Nobu, Whole Foods, to Caviar House. Full-time employment with an above market remuneration package Great independence and career development opportunities.

A team of awesome colleagues! We would love to answer any questions you might have about this position! Please ask any questions or send your cv to recruitment@saquaseafood.com
