Your missions

We Breathe Life Into Data

At Komodo Health, our mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. And we believe that smarter use of data is essential to this mission. That’s why we built the Healthcare Map — the industry’s largest, most complete, precise view of the U.S. healthcare system — by combining de-identified, real-world patient data with innovative algorithms and decades of clinical experience. The Healthcare Map serves as our foundation for a powerful suite of software applications, helping us answer healthcare’s most complex questions for our partners. Across the healthcare ecosystem, we’re helping our clients unlock critical insights to track detailed patient behaviors and treatment patterns, identify gaps in care, address unmet patient needs, and reduce the global burden of disease.

As we pursue these goals, it remains essential to us that we stay grounded in our values: be awesome, seek growth, deliver “wow,” and enjoy the ride. At Komodo, you will be joining a team of ambitious, supportive Dragons with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion to deliver on our mission to reduce the burden of disease — and enjoy the journey along the way.

The Opportunity at Komodo Health:

At Komodo Health, we are seeking a Senior Data Partnerships Manager to join our growing MapEnhance team. This position reports directly to the General Manager. This role is crucial for expanding our reach and enhancing our offerings through strategic data partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying potential data partners, developing relationships and maintaining engagement to ensure a continuous partnership pipeline. This role is also responsible for the ongoing relationship with current data partners and is the initial touch point within the organization for our data partners.

Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have accomplished…

  • Successfully on-boarded new strategic data partners that expand our reach and capabilities in the healthcare data sector
  • Expanded a comprehensive data partnership pipeline that accurately captures and reflects a majority of the sources of US healthcare data
  • Established yourself as the primary relationship manager for all current Healthcare map data sources

These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for …

Partner Identification and Outreach

  • Identify and prospect potential data partners that align with Komodo Health’s strategic data sourcing goals
  • Initiate contact and develop relationships with key decision-makers in the data industry

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting partner relationships
  • Develop a deep understanding of partners' business goals and how they align with our products and services

Engagement Strategy

  • Establish a regular cadence of communication with potential and existing partners to stay top of mind
  • Use a structured CRM system to track interactions, feedback, and progress with each partner

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Work closely with the General Manager to transition relationships as relationships mature through the sales cycle
  • Ensure seamless communication and alignment on partnership goals and expectations

Market Analysis

  • Continuously monitor industry trends and partner landscape to adjust outreach strategies
  • Provide insights to the leadership team on potential data partnership opportunities and market dynamics

Performance Metrics

  • Define and measure success metrics for each partnership
  • Report on partnership activities and outcomes, ensuring they align with overall business objectives

What you bring to Komodo Health (required):

  • Deep experience (8+ years) in client management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the life sciences or healthcare technology industry
  • Strong understanding of data ecosystems and how they can be leveraged in the life-sciences sector
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence others
  • Experience with CRM software and G-Suite
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to identify opportunities for growth.
