Finance Manager

Position: Finance Manager

Reporting to: Head of Finance
Location: Hybrid during the probation period - fully remote thereafter
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm CET

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee and manage the company’s accounting operations, including financial reporting, balance sheet management, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
• Leadership Role: Take a hands-on approach in managing daily financial activities while leading and mentoring a team of three.
• Accounting Focus: Act as the primary contact for all accounting-related matters, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Financial Control: Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
• Problem-Solving: Address complex financial challenges, including managing multiple entities with unique complexities.
• Growth and Development: Identify opportunities for financial growth and efficiency, particularly in the adoption of new Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and other financial innovations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Finance and other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Ideal Candidate:

• Fully qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years in a senior-level finance role, preferably within the iGaming industry.
• Proven experience working with an iGaming operator, managing financial operations across multiple holdings and brands, or substantial experience in a Professional Services firm focused on auditing or consulting for iGaming operators.
• Strong expertise in accounting, with a focus on financial control.
• Demonstrated people skills and experience in leading and mentoring a team.
• Willingness to engage in details and solve problems directly.
• Ability to manage challenges and maintain control in a complex environment.
