Job description

On behalf of our client, an International Telematics and IoT company with offices in the Netherlands, Germany, UK, and Athens, serving more than 1.000 enterprise clients across Europe with innovative solutions, we are looking for a tech-driven and highly-skilled .NET Back-End Developer to join their technology team in Athens. 

A day in the life of a .NET Back-End Developer

You will join a fully-aspirated development team and hit the ground running innovative projects.

Your day-to-day

  • Participate in the design, implementation, and operation of scalable, distributed and fault-tolerant “fast-data” processing components
  • Extend, document and run our public APIs
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Take ownership of BIG data analysis, and customer reports across systems
  • Collaborate with the front-end engineers to co-design the app's supporting back- end services

Requirements

  • ΒS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • 2-3 years of proven professional experience as a .NET Developer
  • Working experience of Relational Databases (PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server)
  • Solid experience in unit testing
  • Implemented backend APIs with ASP.NET
  • Fulfilled any military obligations

Strong Pluses

  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
  • Implemented Web Apps with ASP.NET MVC
