This is a remote position.

This Market Researcher and Customer Analyst job offers the ultimate in flexible working. Paying up to £30,000, the possibility to work full time or part time hours, based from home, this role would suit a senior level person looking for 2-3 days’ work, at the above salary. Typical clients include retailers, including supermarkets, department stores, shop in shop through to showrooms, galleries, and workplace environments.


About this Market Research job

This Market research job sits within the Sales & Marketing team. The position is not a sales role, but on occasion may require client liaison. As an example, taking incoming calls generated by marketing and obtaining a brief understanding of the enquiry to generate leads to pass to the sales team.

This Market Research & Customer Analyst jobs responsibilities is to conduct targeted market research and customer analysis of companies in agreed vertical markets. Identify key contacts within a company, and ultimately support the sales team to penetrate new markets and clients, in line with our client’s strategic development plan.

Duties will include you to:

  • Liaise with Senior Leadership & internal teams to identify target markets
  • Participate in video meetings at Group and Team level
  • Research & identify prospective client companies using online & offline research strategies
  • Pinpoint key decision makers & influencers & associate contacts to company records
  • Identify potential projects & relevant contacts - Brand Owners, Stakeholders, Architects, Specifiers, Contractors etc
  • Accurately record & maintain market research & customer analysis data
  • Recommend targeted marketing activities based on market research & customer analysis findings
  • Create & execute lead generation strategies & marketing communication material
  • Field incoming customer enquiries, record accurate information on leads for the sales team
  • Support the achievement of the company's market growth & customer acquisition plans

 

You

So, to be considered for this Customer Analyst and Market Research job you must be able to commit to dedicating at least 20 - 30 hours a week to this role. You'll have a level of flexibility on when you work, and therefore can fit this flexible job opportunity around other non-conflicting work, or personal, commitments.

It is also essential that you have technical experience from a related industry. This is required in order for you to be capable of holding initial conversations during incoming client enquiries that may be required on occasion.

Relevant practical experience could include, for example, retail design, interior architecture, technical sales, specification, project management, production or installation of metal fabrication, cladding, suspended ceilings, partition walling, lighting, signage or interior fitout.

In addition, you will need to display:

  • Understanding of working with retail client's, architects, designers, specifiers & / or main contractors
  • Technical appreciation of materials, finishes, fabrication & installation methods
  • Computer literate capabilities include internet research methods and microsoft office suite
  • Self-motivation, capable of working remotely & independently
  • Well organised, disciplined & proactive
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail & an appreciation of design led solutions
  • Good admin skills
  • The right to work in the UK
