Signage Business Development Manager, Hybrid, c.£35k-£45k + Comms, Car Allowance & Benefits 
This sign industry sales job is with a well established, medium sized, £multi-million turnover sign manufacturer, that services clients nationally, throughout the UK. Our client is based in the South of England, however this signage Business Development Managers job offers remote, hybrid working.

The Business Development Managers job responsibilities

The sign industry Business Development Mangers job responsibilities is ultimately to support the company's profitable sales growth. Duties will include:

  • Researching & developing potential clients, & new business opportunities, for national signage projects
  • Reestablishing contact, & relationships, with previous, dormant clients
  • Nurturing existing clients to create sales opportunities from their future projects
  • Following up on leads which will be supplied to you regularly, & converting inquires into sales orders
  • Targeted to generate sales of c.£350K in your first year, increasing to c.£500K in year two

So, to be considered for this signage Business Development Managers, ideally you'll have a proven track record of success working in a similar sign industry sales job. You'll need to be able to demonstrate:

  • A consultative sales style
  • Sound technical understanding of signage specifications, materials & finishes
  • Ability to advise clients on innovative signage & graphic solutions, to transform their brand concepts into reality
  • Capable of communicating effectively with people from all backgrounds & seniority levels
  • Willing & able to visit clients Nationally, & conduct professional sales meetings
  • Right to work in the UK.
