The Business Development Managers job responsibilities

The sign industry Business Development Mangers job responsibilities is ultimately to support the company's profitable sales growth. Duties will include:

Researching & developing potential clients, & new business opportunities, for national signage projects
Reestablishing contact, & relationships, with previous, dormant clients
Nurturing existing clients to create sales opportunities from their future projects
Following up on leads which will be supplied to you regularly, & converting inquires into sales orders
Targeted to generate sales of c.£350K in your first year, increasing to c.£500K in year two

So, to be considered for this signage Business Development Managers, ideally you'll have a proven track record of success working in a similar sign industry sales job. You'll need to be able to demonstrate:

A consultative sales style
Sound technical understanding of signage specifications, materials & finishes
Ability to advise clients on innovative signage & graphic solutions, to transform their brand concepts into reality
Capable of communicating effectively with people from all backgrounds & seniority levels
Willing & able to visit clients Nationally, & conduct professional sales meetings
Right to work in the UK.
