Do you remember a time when you looked at a dashboard in Looker or Tableau and thought, that doesn’t look correct? Metaplane is out to solve that problem.
Before Metaplane, data teams were often the last to find out about data quality issues. Silent data bugs disrupted ETL systems, warehouses, and downstream BI tools, leading to decisions based on incorrect or incomplete data and loss of trust.
We’re building a platform for high performing data teams (like Bose, GoFundMe, Ramp, Klaviyo, ClickUp, and many more) to continuously monitor their data pipelines and know when things break, what went wrong, and how to fix it. We partner with companies like Snowflake, dbt, Sigma, Fivetran, and many more to provide the most complete, end-to-end picture of data quality across the modern data stack.
We’re a Boston-based, remote-friendly company founded by MIT and HubSpot alums. Metaplane is backed by leading investors such as Snowflake Ventures, Y Combinator, Felicis, Khosla Ventures, and notable angel investors including Dharmesh Shah (HubSpot), Frederic Kerrest (Okta), Kevin Mahaffey (Lookout), and Alex Maccaw (Clearbit).
The role
As strategic partnerships manager, you’ll own every aspect of Metaplane’s partnership program, from strategy to execution. You’ll work closely with our co-founders, sales, and marketing teams to strengthen relationships with the many partners we work with by creating co-marketing activities, identifying co-selling opportunities, and developing product relationships, with the ultimate goal of accelerating partnership revenue — one of our most effective channels to date.
You’ll have the opportunity to work on many different initiatives across Metaplane’s platform integrators, data consultancies, and app marketplaces including Snowflake, Brooklyn Data Co, Orchard Analytics, AWS, GCP, and Azure. You won’t be developing this program from scratch. We have existing relationships with key technology partners and consultancies, but we’re looking for someone to turn the relationships and data we’ve collected into a professionalized and repeatable playbook. This is a highly visible and critical role with significant impact on the success of Metaplane overall, and reports to Metaplane’s Head of Sales.
