Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Sales Director to join and lead our Cybersecurity Commercial team. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and a proven track record in selling SOC as a Service, penetration testing, MSSP solutions, and consulting services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and promoting our range of cybersecurity services, with a particular focus on our Google Cloud-based solutions.    

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: 

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity sales, with a focus on SOC as a Service, penetration testing, MSSP solutions, and/or consulting services.  
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and industry best practices. Familiarity with Google Cloud and Google Chronicle SIEM is highly desirable.  
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.  
  • Well-established network within the US, enabling them to quickly form new partnerships and accelerate Applaudo’s growth.   
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in large organizations.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field with relevant certifications such as:  
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)  
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)  
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)  
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)  
  • Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Security Engineer  
  • CompTIA Security+  
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)  
  • ITIL Foundation Certification  
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)   

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to promote and sell cybersecurity services, including SOC as a Service, penetration testing, MSSP solutions, and consulting services.  
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in target organizations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.  
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market, targeting organizations that require advanced cybersecurity solutions.  
  • Engage with customers to understand their unique needs, challenges, and objectives, providing tailored cybersecurity solutions that address their specific requirements.  
  • Work closely with technical teams, including cybersecurity consultants and engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.  
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, track performance against targets, and report on sales activities and outcomes to senior management.
