We are seeking an HPC Engineering Manager to join our team! 

At Rescale, this means you will work on and impact: 

  • Deliver deep technological solutions and support related to some of Rescale’s most powerful features

  • Publish, manage and optimize  complex HPC software for our most demanding customers

  • Develop and implement processes and best practices associated with HPC services and support.

  • Define and maintain customer satisfaction metrics. Review customer utilization data and identify enhancement opportunities.

  • Drive revenue growth through instituting onboarding and renewal playbooks.

  • Advocate customer needs internally and working collaboratively with the sales, product and engineering  teams to achieve customer success goals and contribute to overall company objectives.

  • Actively work with the customer support team to ensure customer value realization is improved through every interaction to drive increased customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Identify opportunities for increased productivity through automation and tools and implement these solutions.

  • Design and improve processes to drive customer satisfaction by consistently meeting or exceeding commitments to customers and improving quality of deliverables 

  • Identify key employees to develop, train and promote.

What we’re looking for: 

  • 10+ years experience with HPC Systems and/or HPC Applications’

    • Expertise in Linux/Unix systems including scripting languages like Bash or Python

    • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

    • Experience with scientific computing libraries and tools like MPI, OpenMP and CUDA

  • 5+ yrs of experience running customer success, consulting, professional services, and/or support teams

  • Experience and track record of cross-functional leadership and driving quantifiable customer success through both direct ownership and cross-functional influence.

  • Experience working with a broad enterprise customer base and diverse stakeholders across IT, management, and C-level executives.

  • A self-starter with a proven track record of driving customer success and aligning in complex customer environments.

  • A depth of understanding and willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the detailed work while also maintaining a vision for the larger goal.

  • Technical aptitude to deeply understand the product and platform experience and customer journey within the high-performance computing and enterprise PaaS environment.

  • Demonstrated history of data-driven decision making and prioritization.

  • Excited about developing, driving, tracking, and continuously improving a consistent customer experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with colleagues and cross-functional teams and third parties.

  • BS/BA degree

About your team at Rescale and who you will work with: 

  • Manager: Mulyanto is the VP of HPC and heads the team responsible for the software, compute environment and hardware stack at Rescale.

  • Team: 

    • Radhika Gundavelli, HPC Engineering Manager - Operations, The HPC Services team collaborates closely with the HPC Operations team in developing Rescale’s compute environment.

    • Adam Barnett, HPC Engineering Manager - R&D, The HPC Services team works closely with the HPC R&D team to improve and implement processes, tools and automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the team

    • Bernardo Mendez, Senior Director of Solutions Engineering - Americas, The HPC Services team relies on the Solutions and Customer Success teams to drive revenue opportunities, define the requirements of deliverables and to assist in communication with the customers.

Compensation packages at Rescale are determined based on candidate leveling and geographic location. The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000. The successful candidate will receive meaningful company equity in addition to this.
