We invite a skilled Software Engineering Manager with hands-on C# experience to join our team. You’ll play a key role in developing high-quality software for our client, a major player in the payment processing industry serving over 275,000 U.S. businesses. You’ll oversee the transition to automated testing, streamline development workflows, and communicate with stakeholders on technical matters on behalf of the team. Your expertise will be essential for building the core features of fintech applications, ensuring they run smoothly and securely and deliver genuine value to users.

Is that you?

  • 6+ years of hands-on C# experience in Software Engineering or Test Automation
  • 1+ year as a Software Engineering Manager or similar management role
  • Proven track record with large projects involving complex system and team integrations
  • Solid understanding of development best practices and .NET skills
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control measures;
  • Experience working with Monolithic and Micro-service software architectures;
  • Experience managing various stakeholders from Product and Engineering teams;
  • Experience in schedule, resource and risk management
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and relationship management skills
  • Sharp critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level
  • Familiarity with payment processing industry
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum)

Desirable:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps
  • SAFe or Azure certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Experience managing large codebases of legacy and modern code, including cloud migration
  • Experience with remote teams

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

In this role, you will lead and develop a dynamic team to ensure effective project execution, enhance collaboration across departments, and promote continuous improvement.

  • Lead a technical agile team in application development, production, and testing
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver end-to-end business processes
  • Ensure the team meets milestones, produces deliverables, and resolves issues effectively
  • Mentor team members to promote individual growth and a positive team culture
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog with product managers; assist the PO with backlog organization and addressing the team’s technical issues
  • Work with Architecture, DevOps, and Release Engineering teams to enhance integration, continuous deployment, and test automation
  • Oversee resource allocation; contribute to departmental plans and budgets
  • Communicate daily with technical and business teams; represent the team in stakeholder calls, translating technical challenges into business terms
  • Provide technical guidance on client systems; facilitate onboarding and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure compliance of development and production support processes with corporate and regulatory standards
