Our client, a dynamic and innovative company in the sports entertainment and betting industry, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive growth and expand the market presence of a cutting-edge product that revolutionizes how live sports events are consumed and experienced.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, specifically within the sportsbook B2B provider sector or a sportsbook media company.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, partners, and opportunities for growth. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to target and engage prospective partners.

Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Proactively identify and engage with key stakeholders in the sportsbook industry to drive sales and build long-term relationships. Develop a deep understanding of their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with our client's innovative product offerings.

Sales and Negotiation: Lead sales efforts to secure new partnerships, negotiate terms, and close deals with sportsbook operators and media companies. Present and demonstrate the value proposition of our client’s product to potential clients and partners.

Collaborative Growth: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless onboarding process and ongoing partner satisfaction. Provide feedback to internal teams to help refine product offerings and better meet market needs.

Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to track the effectiveness of business development efforts. Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Key Qualifications:

Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the sportsbook B2B provider space or sportsbook media company.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving business growth, securing partnerships, and achieving revenue targets in a competitive market.

Strong Network: Established network within the sportsbook and sports media industry, with the ability to leverage contacts for business development purposes.

Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies effectively to a range of stakeholders.

Negotiation and Closing Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals and secure partnerships in a competitive environment.

Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies.

Self-Motivated and Results-Driven: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to achieve goals and objectives.
