Your Role


Reporting to the Country Manager Germany & Northern Europe, you will be part of a team of 4 talented professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience. As part of a close-knit team that supports each other and collaborates to achieve their goals, you will support the generation of business in Germany and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating strategic alliances, and building strategic partnerships, and driving growth in our renewable energy projects.


Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Origination of new business opportunities in Germany focused on PV large scale projects.
  • Performing due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Conducting negotiation of co - development agreements.
  • Market analysis and continuous research of new opportunities and assessment of the regulatory environment.
  • Search for new projects, new deals and new markets / segments – including greenfield projects, mid-stage projects (up to a certain development stage) and RTB projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and marketing materials (EPC, M&A, Finance).
  • Establish and maintain relationships with gird stakeholders, public and private local grid network operators.
  • Collaborate with the Project Development team to identify grid availability, provide support on the grid application process and technical planning process for the execution.
  • Monitor and report on business development activities, incluiding pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.


Your Profile


We Are Looking For a Strategic Thinker With a Deep Understanding Of The Renewable Energy Market In Germany. Furthermore, You Should Bring The Following


  • Bachelor´s degree or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in business development in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, including solar, wind, and other sustainable energy technologies, in Germany.
  • Ideally you have previous experience with grid stakeholders.
  • Extremely high proactivity, open personality and passionate about the development of renewable energies.
  • High willingness to travel in Germany. The position requires being in the field approximately 40% of the time.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
