In 8 years, Bridge has grown to a team of more than 60 people from nearly 20 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.
JOB MISSION
As the Senior Business Development Manager (Development Actors- US Market) at Bridge for Billions, you will play a key role in driving our mission to transform the global entrepreneurial landscape. This position goes beyond traditional business development. You'll be at the forefront of devising and executing innovative sales strategies targeting development actors like development agencies, large philanthropic foundations, and corporate foundations and social responsibility teams.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve thorough market analysis and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. By combining your deep understanding of these client needs with excellent proposal writing skills, you'll craft customized solutions that address the specific challenges and goals of US philanthropic organizations.
Your role is crucial in bridging the gap between our services and the needs of these organizations, ensuring that our solutions are not only effective but also resonate with the clients' objectives. Your ability to forge lasting relationships, underpinned by empathy, active listening, and cultural awareness, will establish trust and credibility with our clients. With your strategic mindset, analytical prowess, and fluency in both English and Spanish, you will be instrumental in propelling Bridge for Billions towards new heights of success and impact in the entrepreneurial world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for engaging like US-based development actors like development agencies, large philanthropic foundations, and corporate foundations and social responsibility teams.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through managing large, complex deals and contributing to the development of the broader team.
- Understand the dynamics of the public sector market and client needs, effectively linking them to Bridge for Billions' value proposition.
- Design, implement, and measure lead generation campaigns targeted at the public sector, while efficiently managing the sales funnel.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients in the public sector, addressing their concerns and objections as needed.
- Create compelling, client-aligned proposals that influence decisions and showcase Bridge’s solutions.
- Close deals ranging from standard to mid-complexity using a consultative approach, and manage client accounts post-sale, including renewals.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of CRM systems for meticulous recording and analysis of sales data, aiding in strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the department's strategy, fostering a learning environment that aligns with the company's vision.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop unified and effective strategies.
- Lead complex projects, breaking them into manageable segments for team learning and growth opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience & Track Record:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in startup settings or for social impact solutions.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the US development actors space, including development agencies, large philanthropic foundations, and corporate foundations and social responsibility teams.
- A deep understanding or familiarity with the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.
- Proven prowess in consultative selling, focusing more on services rather than products.
- Ability to lead and influence both self and others in diverse projects and capable of strategic thinking and operational execution.
- Ability to create a vision, exercise influence, and foster an environment of growth and exploration.
Technical Proficiency & Analytical Prowess:
- Proficient in the use of CRMs, coupled with an understanding of marketing automation tools.
- Ability to dissect sales data, pinpointing areas of opportunity and refinement.
- Skills to aid remote sales teams and strategies that penetrate large accounts effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in implementing sales techniques that bolster revenue goals.
- Skills in drafting sales compensation structures that motivate and reward.
- Aptitude for communicating complex ideas crisply in a rapidly evolving setting.

OFFER AND LOCATION
Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector:
- Compensation: annual salary ranging from 46,000 USD - 50,000 USD (gross salary)
- Health Insurance bonus of $60/month included to your salary
- Location: Guatemala, Colombia, México, Costa Rica or Puerto Rico.
