Avalor is applying its data expertise to security, allowing companies to better manage risk. We have both a rich data platform and security modules that tap into the platform to provide immediate benefits to our customers. We have built and patented a Data Fabric for Security™. It curates data from hundreds of security and business tools and contextualizes that data to help companies understand and address their riskiest problems. Our Unified Vulnerability Management module is our first module to tap into the power of our data fabric, helping companies create custom contextualized risk scores and tailored workflows to reduce risk. Responsibilities:

We're looking for an experienced Manager, Technical Account Manager to join our Avalor team reporting to the Senior Director of Customer Success. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week required in the Plano, TX or New York, NY office. You will manage a team providing world-class post-onboarding services to our largest commercial accounts.

Our TAMs are held to the highest industry standards for responsiveness and services provided. Moreover, the TAM manages the client relationship and ensures that Avalor is and continues to be considered a key technology partner within the account. The TAM will aim to establish an excellent working relationship with other members who are active within the account.

  • As the first TAM in Avalor, you will take a hands-on role and initially act as a TAM (individual contributor), while building your team. You will build the TAM team for Avalor from scratch and lead the team
  • Ensure the TAM team has the necessary tools, resources, and training to manage customer relationships and inquiries and drive success.
  • Establish and maintain work processes which will ensure client satisfaction, including periodical meetings, training sessions, consultancy approach, taking an active part in regular Zscaler business reviews with customers etc.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
  • Direct management experience (2 years minimum) with demonstrated effective leadership
  • Experience in data modeling methodologies and advanced SQL knowledge
  • Proficiency in data management, ETL processes, and integration strategies
  • Experience as the point of escalation for critical customer issues, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience collaborating with sales, professional services and support and product teams to provide a seamless customer journey from go live through to long-term retention.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Experience hiring/building a world-class Technical Account Managers/Professional Services teams.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, products, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management programs - Big Advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$129,500$185,000 USD
