The Opportunity:
As the Vice President of Revenue Operations at Syncro, you will play a critical role in driving the overall revenue strategy and operations of the company. This role will report to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) but will also have a strong alignment and dotted line into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). You will be responsible for aligning and optimizing all revenue-generating functions, including sales, marketing, customer success, and finance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of our go-to-market strategy, drive operational efficiencies, and deliver an extraordinary experience for our customers and partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Revenue Strategy
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue operations strategy that aligns with Syncro’s growth objectives and business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment 
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, and finance teams to ensure alignment and synergy across all revenue-generating functions, particularly with the finance team to ensure accurate financial forecasting and with the marketing team to maximize the effectiveness of demand generation efforts.
  • Sales Operations
    • Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and sales process optimization to drive sales productivity and effectiveness.
  • Business Systems Ownership
    • Will have principal responsibility of the ownership, coordination, and collaboration of our cross functional business systems (i.e. Salesforce, Pendo, PlanHat, Outreach.io, etc)
  • Marketing Operations
    • Partner with marketing to optimize lead flow, campaign management, and marketing automation processes to ensure a seamless customer journey and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Finance Collaboration
    • Work closely with the finance team to align on revenue reporting, budgeting, and financial planning, ensuring accurate revenue forecasting and the identification of key growth drivers.
  • Customer Success Operations
    • Support the customer success team in developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer retention, expansion, and overall satisfaction.
  • Data and Analytics
    • Leverage data and analytics to provide insights and recommendations that drive revenue growth, improve decision-making, and enhance overall business performance.
  • Process Improvement
    • Continuously evaluate and improve revenue operations processes, tools, and technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Revenue Forecasting
    • Develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts, and provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership 
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing revenue operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
  • Customer Experience 
    • Ensure that all revenue operations initiatives contribute to delivering an extraordinary experience for Syncro’s customers and partners.

Must have details: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and other revenue operations technologies.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to customers and partners.
  • Experience working with target customer profiles in the SMB space
