Main Sail is seeking an SAP Business Analyst (Sales & Distribution) to support a multi-year U.S. Army Enterprise effort within a complex and demanding environment.

Responsibilities

The SAP Business Analyst/Specialist is responsible for business process and system analysis, design/translating business requirements to technical requirements, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of components in an enterprise SAP environment. The SAP Business Analyst will work closely with architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and resposibilities . The SAP Business Analyst is involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of SAP modules and those that interface with other applications. The SAP Business Analyst has a range of skills and knowledge of the technologies used and applications supported. The SAP Business Analyst will provide change management and training support. The SAP Business Analyst is required to participate in on-call support.

Qualifications

7 years of SAP experience in sales and distribution module:

  • Army Logistics experience
  • Experience with the SD (Sales Orders, Deliveries) and IM (receipts processing) modules
  • SCM experience (GATP, CIF, Backorder processing)
  • Configuration expertise in Document Types, Item Categories, Pricing, Account Determination
  • Expertise in integration with ACQ, FICO and PS modules
  • EWM experience (delivery processing)
  • Integration knowledge of all other modules
  • ANSI X12 Experience
  • Experience with interfaces using IDocs
  • Experience with debugging
  • Experience in LSMWs, ABAP query
  • Experience in designing and providing detailed functional specifications for Sales Order and Delivery User exits and enhancements
  • Some development experience

Location: Remote, with 0%-20% travel to Picatinny Arsenal NJ

Period: 10/1/24 - 4/30/25 with two additional option years likely.
