Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our team. The TAM plays a crucial role in delivering technical guidance throughout our customers' journeys, leveraging their expertise in technical, competitive, and industry knowledge. Collaborating closely with Account Executives and local Partners, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer success by orchestrating technical engagement, identifying needs, and providing solutions. You will have direct impact on customers by helping them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Organize all points of technical engagement with Spotfire accounts, collaborating where appropriate with local partners and GSIs.
  • Develop an understanding of each customers’ current and future needs.
  • Create a technical account strategy and plan for success in an account.
  • Expand Spotfire's presence within existing accounts.
  • Identify and technically qualify new business opportunities.
  • Deliver or coordinate technical briefings, demos, and Proof of Value projects.
  • Lead hands-on design work during the evaluation (Proof of Concept) phase.
  • Provide valuable feedback to Engineering based on real-world usage patterns.
  • Respond to RFI, RFP with technical architecture presentations and solutions.
  • Install, configure, demonstrate, and troubleshoot Spotfire products.
  • Articulate competitive solution/product differentiators to customers and the sales team.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing Spotfire's effectiveness in Sales.
  • Develop white papers, product demos, technical presentations, and social media content.
  • Participate in industry conferences to network with customers and promote Spotfire.
  • Conduct internal Knowledge Share sessions on industry trends and cutting-edge technologies.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

  • University Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Science, or related analytical field) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience in advanced data analytics; or Master's degree with 6 years; or PhD with 3 years
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a strong team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communications and storytelling skills enabling effective communication with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Korean native speaker, fluent in English.
  • Hands-on experience with Spotfire, ability to deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Spotfire analytics software.
  • Capability to understand real-world data analytics problems, propose solutions, compare and contrast them, validate results, and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Domain knowledge in key industries such as Manufacturing, Energy, Financial Services, Healthcare, or Life Sciences.
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, including machine learning and optimization techniques, to large, complex, and disparate data sources.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, and SQL
  • Experience with cloud implementations, particularly Kubernetes, is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with streaming and data virtualization technologies is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of the Command of the Message sales methodology.
