Join Molex as Sales Account Manager

You will be part of our international sales team

What You Will Do

  • Drive the commercial and technical communication between Molex and the customer during the whole product lifecycle, from concept promotion to post-sales support
  • Drive the sales process through RFI/RFQ, price negotiations, FCST reviews and revenue plans
  • Drive the qualification the awarded development programs in compliance to Molex and customer's plans
  • Support the generation and reporting of sales metrics
  • Support the production planning and shipments tracking
  • Collaborate with the internal resources (tech marketing, product management, R&D, product operations, quality)
  • Establish a reliable primary Molex contact for the assigned account
  • Provide Molex a direct understanding of customer needs, requirements, process and related constraints
  • Contribute to Molex product strategy and competitive analysis


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Master of Science in Physics/Engineering, preferably with specialization in Optical Communications and related technologies
  • Proven extensive Technical Marketing and/or Sales experience in the Optical Communications and/or Electronics industry, preferably in the fields of:
    • Optical devices and subsystems for telecom/datacom application
    • High-speed connectivity for telecom/datacom application
    • Wavelength-Division-Multiplexing linecards and subsystems
    • High-speed electronics for telecom/datacom application
  • Experience in Sales management roles, or equivalent job experience in supporting product lifecycle from design to production
  • Experience of multi-cultural, remote team collaboration
  • Understanding of the optical communication industry trends and technologies
  • Understanding of the Sales management IT tools and realted process (Salesforce, SAP, ... reporting)
  • Self-organization of time and priorities
  • Structured decision-making process
  • Respectful and effective communication in a complex team (multi-functional, multi-cultural, multi-company)
  • Attitude to drive programs with focus to objectives
  • Capable to negotiate conflicting product/commercial requirements with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactivity to seek support and provide feedback
