Application Architect

Marathon TS is looking for a Application Architect that will support our client. This role involves developing strategic solution architectures, addressing technical gaps, and ensuring smooth system integration and transitions. The architect will also support enterprise modernization programs by strategizing target state development, planning technical integration, conducting architecture impact analysis, and managing program metrics. Key responsibilities include planning for API design, integrating DevSecOps methods, and utilizing CICD tools to enhance application delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic plans for end-to-end solution architectures for prioritized use cases in a heterogeneous application environment, ensuring alignment with common principles and standards.
• Use the "Retirement Strategy " to address technical gaps and provide a comprehensive understanding of current state architectures.
• Strategize the development of target state data strategies and create detailed target state views, capability mapping, and tech stack plans.
• Ensure incremental delivery of the target state, prioritizing business values and incorporating Zero Trust principles.
• Plan and assess the impact of target and transition states on ongoing modernization programs and strategize transition activities for the IDRS program.
• Provide guidance on technical integration, including static and dynamic application security testing (SAST and DAST).
• Conduct high-level architecture impact analysis, manage retirement asset inventory, and plan decommissioning sequencing.
• Develop strategic plans for current state architectures, map system requirements to the modernized state, and analyze system interactions while employing least privilege principles.
• Develop key metrics, and provide strategic updates on progress.
• Prepare strategic materials for stakeholder engagement sessions and support executive briefings to gain concurrence and alignment.
• Develop strategic plans for API design in a heterogeneous application environment to facilitate data exchange through a centralized API gateway solution.
• Ensure robust API design that supports seamless integration and aligns with security best practices.
• Strategize the integration of DevSecOps methods to support secure and efficient application delivery, embedding security into the development process.
• Plan the utilization of CICD tools to automate and streamline the application delivery pipeline, enhancing consistency, speed, and reliability in deployment.
• Conduct stakeholder engagement sessions, including working sessions, technical forums, and customer technical reviews.
• Support executive briefings to ensure alignment with program leadership.
