Senior Auditor AU - GSCBNT

Responsibilities:

• Gain a thorough understanding of the audit approach, methodology, and tools
• Assist in designing the audit approach for clients
• Complete Audit Planning related documentation 
• Select samples for audit testing
• Perform test of controls, detailed testing and analytical review
• Identify accounting issues under IFRS; perform research to solve issues
• Oversee audit engagements, and keep managers and audit partners informed of the engagement status.
• Draft the audit summary memoranda, the management letter, and the presentation of key discussion points for the closing meeting with the management
• Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel to obtain a better understanding of business operations, processes, and functions
• Stay informed of current economic developments relevant to each clients business and industry
• Demonstrate professionalism

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or any relevant accounting degree
• Certified Public Accountants are preferred 
  
• Must have at least 4 years of experience in external audit.

• Must have caseware audit and caseware financial accounts prep experience.

• Australian Audit and Accounting experience required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledgeable in IFRS and GAAP
• Sound technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines
