PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $122,000.00-$149,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $94,500.00 - $176,500.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As the Senior Program Manager-Planning and Performance, you will be a key driver in shaping and enhancing BECU’s business and process strategies related to our Contact Center. Your expertise will guide the design and implementation of new offerings, ensuring they are optimized for both our members and business units. You’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage critical projects, and foster collaboration across teams to deliver exceptional results. Your leadership will directly impact the success and satisfaction of both employees and members, making a tangible difference in the evolution of BECU.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead Strategic Projects: Take charge of project teams to oversee the delivery of system enhancements and process improvements, ensuring alignment with the Business Unit’s goals.

  • Shape Strategic Direction: Play an active role in developing and managing the strategic direction of the Business Unit, ensuring it aligns with broader organizational objectives.

  • Implement Standards and Processes: Ensure that standards, policies, and processes are effectively implemented, and develop metrics to track and report on their success.

  • Communicate Effectively: Provide clear, timely, and accurate communications that guide leadership and monitor the performance of products and services.

  • Collaborate for Success: Partner with internal and external resources to design and implement programs that support both employee and member advocacy.

  • Analyze and Act: Use survey data to understand the needs and expectations of employees and members and implement actions to address areas of concern.

  • Ensure Compliance: Stay ahead of federal and state regulations, coordinating with other departments to ensure full compliance across your areas of responsibility.

  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Oversee vendor contracts within your areas, ensuring members receive cost-efficient and high-quality service from third-party providers.

  • Facilitate Effective Communication: Maintain strong communication channels across all Credit Union employees to ensure the exchange of information needed to achieve goals.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Strive for the continuous improvement of processes and service quality to meet Credit Union goals.

  • Manage Reporting and Audits: Maintain the necessary operational audit and management information reporting required for the Business Unit, including statistical record-keeping.

  • Contribute Beyond Expectations: Take on additional duties as needed, contributing to the overall success of the Business Unit and BECU.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. in business or equivalent work or education-related experience.

  • Seven years of functional experience leading process improvement projects, preferably in the Financial Services industry.

  • Experience managing project teams.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in operations management, project management, technology implementation, and internal controls development and oversight.

  • Strong project management, leadership, and negotiation skills.

  • Strong experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean
