We are seeking a seasoned, innovative
Account Manager to serve as the “front door” of our retail client's in-house agency, acting as the crucial link between the creative team and valued partners.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for determining client needs, explaining the creative process, recommending solutions, and collaborating closely with project management to ensure the timely execution of all campaigns and projects.
In this role, you will develop campaigns and strategies, proactively partner with marketing counterparts for quarterly planning of ongoing and seasonal campaigns, and ensure on-time delivery of assets aligned with objectives and KPIs. You must be adept at handling high project volume, managing multiple stakeholders and agency partners, and translating creative briefs into successful campaigns.
To succeed, you should be self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and possess “big picture” thinking. Your ability to inspire the creative team to exceed client expectations while expertly managing their campaigns will be key. Ultimately, you will be strategic, detail-oriented, organized, and driven.
Responsibilities:
- Drive accountability for Partner’s business and marketing objectives, informing and driving integrated campaign solutions that generate measurable results.
- Act as the day-to-day lead on integrated campaign development and production, driving campaigns to completion on time and within budget.
- Maintain consistent and thorough communication with Partners on all project statuses, timing, and delivery.
- Ensure all ideas and concepts remain on brief and deliver against agreed KPIs and objectives.
- Oversee integrated campaign workflow, timings, and processes in collaboration with the project manager to ensure priorities are set and milestones met.
- Create creative briefs and ensure all work aligns with partner objectives and KPIs.
- Oversee 360 full-funnel campaign development and execution, including Video, Experiential, Content Creation, Digital, Social, Signage, and Site.
- Manage campaign production budgets, considering cost efficiencies.
- Represent the agency in Partner meetings and act as the lead when working with external agencies.
- Effectively manage up to the Sr. Account Manager and Manager.
- Mentor and train Associate Account Managers, driving their success within the agency.
- Seek incremental opportunities within the work and implement them creatively and cost-effectively.
- Articulate a clear POV (and/or presentation) to internal teams and Partners.
- Actively manage Associate Account Manager’s workload, helping them drive workflow and providing mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- A Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or a relevant field.
- 5-8 years of experience as an agency Account Supervisor, Sr. Account Manager, or similar role.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a retail environment (or other high-volume industry).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with a focus on non-traditional media.
- Experience in project management tools including Smartsheet & Workfront.
- Excellent understanding of advertising methods and techniques.
- Strong understanding of account management fundamentals, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and allocate resources.
- Ability to combine business, communication, and creative strategy to drive the creation of effective creative platforms and tightly integrated campaigns.
- Extremely persuasive presenter and writer with the ability to be simple, clear, and personally compelling, no matter the audience.
- Bring out the best in people, foster ambition, enthusiasm, and team morale. Have great judgment about where to direct the team’s energy.
- Always prepared and follows through, unafraid to take charge, be decisive, and drive to outcomes quickly.
