A Day in the Life
The Sales Therapy Specialist provides technical, clinical and educational support of Structural Heart portfolio to ensure safe adoption and growth within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering , nursing, or related sciences
3+ years clinical or sales experience; selling or supporting interventional cardiology, vascular or surgical products
Imaging interpretation experience (TTE or Trans Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), CT, Angiograms)
Expertise with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fluency in English language both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic in accomplishing objectives of the position

In this exciting and challenging position as a Sales Representative you will be driving the sales of the Structural heart within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Achieving revenue and profit targets within assigned region and product scope
- Developing account sales strategy and planning according to account segmentation concept with long-, medium- and short-term perspective
- Identifying and facilitating market development opportunities and encouraging collaborations on specific projects
- Negotiating contract and terms, closing deals, contract follow up vs. targets.
- Participates in customer/society education meetings and conventions.
- Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner, report and device complaints to proper departments within quality assurance within Medtronic.
- Communicate market intelligence/competitor activity promptly.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales in medical devices, healthcare, or pharma industry
- Fluency in English language both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a dynamic environment.
- Work with minimum supervision
- Experience in Cathlab and good knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Thorough understanding of the national / local health care system
