Job Description
  1. Serve as the primary technical owner for JIRA and other Atlassian tools, such as Confluence.
  2. Administer, configure, and maintain JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, and other settings to support business needs.
  3. Oversee system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance to ensure the stability and performance of Atlassian tools.
  4. Develop and implement custom scripts, plugins, and automation to enhance JIRA functionality.
  5. Work closely with development teams, project managers, and business analysts to understand project needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  6. Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure that Atlassian tools meet organizational standards and policies.
  7. Monitor the performance and usage of JIRA and other Atlassian tools, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with SLAs and OLAs related to the support and maintenance of Atlassian tools.
  8. Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance, user experience, and business processes
  9. Generate and analyze reports on system usage, project metrics, and user activity to provide insights and recommendations.
  10. Oversee the lifecycle of all applications from implementation to retirement.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computers / Electronics and Telecommunication / having 3 to 6 years ‘experience in Atlassian JIRA application.

Additional Information

Jira certification will be an added advantage.

Good communication skill (both written and oral) with good interpersonal skills and excellent analytical skills

Year of experience in JIRA Atlassian application: 4-8 years
