Your missions

 

The Marketing Manager, reporting to the Global Marketing Director, is responsible for partnering with the platform leaders, sales, and engineering teams to drive messaging and positioning for CECO’s product lines. This position is a player-coach, doing much of the work himself/herself with a team of functional support and external vendors. Essential duties and responsibilities

The major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, the individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.  Other duties, assignments, and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive management. 

 

 

  • Sales funnel/customer service/retention/lead gen/brand awareness
  • Define and lead a content strategy designed to increase organic traffic, including keyword research, content mapping
  • Define and lead a content strategy designed for building links, including ideation and execution and optimized for Seo. 
  • Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice for a variety of media and across the entire buyer journey to different personas, industries, and touchpoints. Content assets will include blogs, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, website content, landing pages, presentations, brochures, social media and videos. 
  • Demand generation: partner with sales teams to devise campaign strategy and themes, create compelling content, and digital marketing programs to drive demand across all channels.
  • Digital support: prepare industry content for applicable marketing channels (e.g., social media, website) and distribute as applicable.
  • Event management: work with marketing specialist on the execution of industry conferences including Roi review. 
  • Social media: work with marketing specialist to develop content for your business segment
  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and platform segments. Lead product rationalization initiatives as needed. 
  • Manage and develop competitive analysis, voice and value messaging 
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
  • Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all marketing and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking, analysis and optimization. Include VOC process. 
  • Paid social/AdWords lead
  • Oversee graphic design needs for segment
  • CECO Certified webinars development and execution
  • Manage agency/contractor support as applicable
  • Other job duties as required.

 

Education and experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, communications or business) 
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in b2b marketing strategies
  • Experience in the manufacturing, industrial, and/or environmental industry is strongly preferred. 
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies (solution and services positioning) for diverse and segmented product lines. 
  • Experience defining and delivering technical product marketing deliverables including product and solution videos, presentations, blogs, webinars, competitive analyses, roi analyses, technical whitepapers, thought leadership content, and enablement material topics into simplified campaigns for diverse technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (ActOn, Salesforce)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to write exceptionally well, conceptualize, and even create compelling visuals. 
  • Ability to work across the entire organization with senior leaders to build consensus on marketing priorities. 
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
