Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Manager Project Manager with expertise in overseeing government projects as well as assisting in the internal development of a government contractor. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of various NuvoLogic projects. The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to provide oversight and management of overall contract operations, often involving multiple projects/tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations. As a Senior Manager and Team Lead, you will be responsible for the quality assurance of deliverables, acting as a liaison between the client and the project team, and ensuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.

• Provide effective leadership and oversight to a team of consultants, analysts, and subcontractors. 

• Lead and facilitate proposal writing. 

• Guide business analysis, SOP creation, and process improvements necessary for project success. 

• Maintain and manage relationships with senior-level management within the client organization. 

• Ensure quality standards and work performance on all task orders and projects; plan, organize, and oversee work efforts; assign resources; manage personnel; and monitor overall project and contract performance. 

• Utilize standard program management practices and methodologies to reliably produce expected contract outcomes. 

• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and understanding of client needs and expectations. 

• Contribute to the internal development of NuvoLogic as a government contractor, assisting with the implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools, including management of third-party tools/vendors. 

• Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resources. 

• Mentor and develop junior staff and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the program lifecycle. 

• Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution. 

• Provide guidance and support to project managers within the program, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
• Implement and maintain quality standards across all projects, ensuring that deliverables meet company expectations.
• Monitor the performance of program teams, providing feedback and development opportunities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is highly desirable. 

• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in project management, leading the delivery projects from initiation to completion. 

• 7+ years proven experience in managing government contracts and projects. 

• Strong knowledge of government regulations, compliance standards, and procurement processes. 

• Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement strategies to overcome challenges. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 

• Proficiency in project management software and tools 

• Lean Six Sigma experience a plus
