Job description

Your mission
  • Develop and Execute Strategies: Design and implement comprehensive online performance marketing strategies across channels, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, other relevant channels, and programmatic advertising to achieve targeted KPIs.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of digital marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, ensuring they align with our overall marketing objectives.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends and insights and adjust strategies to optimize ROAS, CPA, and other key performance metrics.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets effectively across channels, ensuring maximum efficiency and ROI.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, design, and product, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all marketing efforts.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and platform updates to ensure our marketing efforts remain cutting-edge.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior marketing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Your profile
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in online performance marketing, with a proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale campaigns.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including search, social, display, and programmatic. Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and other relevant platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail in execution.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
 Bonus points for 
  • Experience within the Asian market.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment. 
  • Experience with email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, Marketo). 
  • Certification in digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot). 
  • Technical understanding is a plus. 
  • Interest in the Automotive Industry/E-Vehicles/Energy Sector/Circular Economy.

Circunomics GmbH was founded in 2019 and is in Mainz, Germany. The company is leading the industry by offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. Co-Founders Felix Wagner and Jan Born are dedicated to establishing a true circular battery economy to maximize each stage of battery life. Along with their team, they seek to inspire the movement of batteries from 1st-life within the automotive industry to 2nd-life within the energy sector, and finally, through working with recyclers to close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.  

Circunomics has developed an AI-powered, B2B marketplace where cells, modules, and packs can be traded. Through the Circunomics Analytics product, sellers and buyers can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SH to 2nd-life simulation, this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Circunomics knows that lifecycle planning is complex, and the Battery Matchmakers are on a mission to help ease this process for their customers. 

The company has been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs, recycler TES, Orlen VC, and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. The Series A funding round is set for completion in Q3/Q4 of 2024.  
Though many customers already sit within the US market, Circunomics is set to officially expand operations into the US by the close of 2024. 

US-based company Frost & Sullivan awarded Circunomics the 2023 Market Leadership Award. This award identified Circunomics as the Best in Class within the European Circular Marketplace for the Battery Trade Industry.
