Revenue Accountant

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can process large amounts of data into our revenue accounting software. We are hiring a Revenue Accountant that will process our sales transactions, facilitate price increases and maintain the ARR schedule. Reporting to our Controller, you will own the record keeping, reconciliation and month end processes related to revenue and deferred revenue accounts. Additional duties will include working with other departmental managers related to contracts as well as compiling the 5-day flash report for management.

A typical day for this position involves processing transactions from Hubspot and Happy Fox into Maxio. Your experience with SaaS companies and particularly your knowledge and understanding of ASC 606 compliance are required for this role. Additional experience with Maxio (SaaS Optics/Chargify/or other related Revenue systems), Hubspot (or other CRMs) and Excel are essential as well. Ideal candidates will have additional experience in forecasting, trend analysis, and exposure to Happy Fox and Stripe.

After one year, you’ll know you were successful if:

• You process contracts, tickets and price increase in Maxio accurately and on-time.
• You display revenue contract knowledge and apply it when compiling reports.
• You can support and communicate across departments and management regarding revenue trends.
• You are actively involved in month end processes and own the revenue and deferred revenue accounts.
