Accounting Analyst

BOIS is looking for a meticulous and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our Client's Financial team!

In this role, you will support our customer's financial operations by handling various accounting tasks such as financial analysis, budget preparation, and variance analysis. Your focus will be on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data and aiding in the creation of financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial statements and identify trends, variances, and key performance indicators.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial transactions.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather information for budget preparation.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with explanations for deviations.
• Support the accounts payable and receivable functions by ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of transactions.
• Review and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and proper authorization.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuites).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English
