Your missions

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager for a 2 year contract for our client based in Hong Kong. The Oracle Project Manager will manage the delivery of a key phase in our transformation journey, focusing on the best practice implementation of Oracle Asset, Project, and Customer Cloud Solutions. Reporting directly to the Director of Project Management, the appointee will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery (design, testing, and adoption) of these new capabilities into the core of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management and support of functional stream leads as they guide their function through all aspects of the delivery of the new processes and system.
  • Responsible for the effective management of risks, issues, and dependencies across five functions.
  • Collaborate with the Program Management team to ensure accurate and timely management reporting on progress against the critical path, including the application of rigorous governance over decisions and changes impacting time, cost, and quality.
  • Coordinate weekly with all key stakeholders, including internal Functional Transformation Heads and external vendors and service providers.
  • Facilitate effective working groups and steering committees, and deliver high-quality presentations to senior management to drive and report progress.
  • Actively support change management, communication, and training to assist Transformation Heads and Process Owners in preparing the business for deployment and adoption.

Requirements

  • Graduate with 15+ years of relevant work experience in a large project or program leadership role with delivery responsibilities.
  • Strong preference for candidates with end-to-end delivery experience of Oracle’s Utility Solution (Assets, Projects, Field Service, and Customer).
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Dedicated team player with a methodical approach to work, attention to detail, and a desire to solve problems.
  • Expert understanding of the standard project life cycle and project management fundamentals, particularly governance and reporting.
  • Experience creating and maintaining detailed project plans, identifying and documenting risks, issues, and dependencies, and tracking them to resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with and manage senior stakeholders and vendors.
  • Appreciation for the importance of accurate documentation and clear, appropriate, and timely reporting.
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply change management principles, adept at conflict resolution and resource planning.
