Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area provides air, power and flow solutions through products such as mobile compressors, pumps, light towers and generators, along with a number of complementary products and services.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Coordinator to join our team in East Europe. The SHEQ Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing and coordinating effective Safety, Health, and Environment processes while fostering a robust safety culture that aligns with the Atlas Copco Group objectives within Power Technique East Europe.
In this role, you will be tasked with coordinating the internal audit program and serving as a key user of the Integrated Management System (IMS). Additionally, you will take charge of coordinating the Wellbeing and Resilience agenda for Power Technique East Europe, ensuring the well-being of employees and fostering resilience within the organization. Furthermore, as the SHEQ Coordinator, you will provide valuable support to the General Manager and HR Manager in managing the organization's SHEQ-related aspects. Your contribution will be integral to maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment while driving organizational success.

The Role:

Management System:

  • Ensure smooth maintenance and coordination of the IMS system, acting as a superuser to keep all processes up to date.
  • Support the effective development and reporting of SHEQ within the region.
  • Assist in preparing SHEQ-related aspects for company and business review meetings, actively participating in meetings.


Compliance & Certification:

  • Aid in preparing for Internal Group Audits and external audits related to SHEQ aspects.
  • Represent the company management during audits concerning SHEQ matters.
  • Coordinate the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 in relevant countries within the region.
  • Participate in and partially lead internal ISO audits as a member of the East Europe audit group.
  • Consult with the General Manager on activity planning, follow-up, and budgeting for SHEQ activities.
  • Participate in seminars, trainings, or other related activities organized by the PT Division.
  • Ensure compliance with TWWDT rules across PT EE processes.


Safety:

  • Coordinate local Health, Safety, and Environment (SHE) support to meet legal requirements.
  • Inform and train employees on SHEQ-related activities, systems, and requirements.
  • Act as a superuser for the TIA system, overseeing administration (safety walks coordination), conducting employee training, and incident/accident follow-up.
  • Conduct regular visits to CC premises, particularly workshops, to conduct inspections and raise awareness about safety and environmental practices.


Quality & Communication:

  • Take charge of sustainability/environmental reporting and monitor progress toward sustainability Group targets.
  • Collaborate with group management on SHEQ and Sustainability topics.
  • Foster a sustainability culture and awareness within the region.
  • Coordinate and implement Climate Awareness Group Communication in collaboration with the Communication Manager through events and presentations.


Support of Regional HR Manager

  • Develop and coordinate the Wellbeing and Resilience agenda within PT EE.
  • Assist the Regional HR Manager in New Hires Induction and Onboarding in line with local requirements within PT EE.
  • Provide support to the Regional HR Manager in people-related initiatives


To succeed you will need:

  • University degree – preferred economy with a clear preference for quality, environmental and Heath & Safety
  • Previous experience of comparable SHEQ work, possibly in an international environment
  • Experience as an internal auditor will be an added value
  • Understanding of UE legal requirements and regulations in terms of environment, wellbeing and safety at the work place
  • Up-to-date knowledge and interest in compliance aspects
  • Fluent in local language and English is a must
  • Experience with management system and ISO standards implementation
  • Ability to guide Senior Management Team toward achieving Atlas Copco SHEQ KPIs
  • Openness for travel within the Power Technique East Europe region (mainly Poland, Cech Republic, Romania)
  • High energy level and strong interpersonal skills to work with all levels and departments
  • Readiness to be involved in HR related projects.
