Job description

Intersog® is a Chicago-based provider of ROI-driven custom web and mobile development, specializing in delivering full-service, end-to-end solutions and project resources to Fortune 500 companies, SMEs, and startups. We help our clients achieve ambitious business goals, solve skills shortages, and drive innovation by building Dedicated Software Development Teams and providing on-demand IT project resources.

We are looking for a certified Senior Data Engineer who will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. This is a unique opportunity to be one of the key drivers of change in our expanding company.

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze existing data sources
  • Identify anomalies/trends
  • Create data pipelines, graphics, and reports
  • Evaluate business needs and objectives
  • Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability
  • Identify opportunities for data acquisition

Requirements

    • 5+ years of background as a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or similar
    • High volume/scale experience
    • Practice in data platform supporting
    • In-depth understanding of database structure principles
    • Proficiency in big query, Google Cloud Platform, airflow
    • Competence in Python+SQL
    • Knowledge of IC
    • Ability to be self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented

Nice to Have

    • Availability to overlap with the PST time zone as much as possible
    • Competency in Golang
    • Skills in TypeScript
