As  a  full time Remote TeleAssist Support II to assist variousfast-paced outpatient imaging centers. The incumbent will support multiple external clinical applications, systems, and workflows for 24/7/365 multi-facility hospital and Outpatient sites, working directly with Radiologists located in various locations throughout the United States and outlying regions, as well as supporting hospital staff in urgent patient care scenarios. Access to reliable, high-speed internet is required for this position. 

What you’ll get to do: 

  • Works collaboratively with members of the Clinical Applications / TelAssist / IT support teams, administering and supporting clinical applications and related systems for all Radiologists within the Organization.
  • Support, diagnose and escalate issues to the IT support team, especially for after-hours coverage.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with Radiologists and hospital/ER staff (Advent, HCA facilities, Tampa General facilities, USVI Hospital facilities and Halifax facilities) in addition to several smaller outpatient facilities.
  • Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose problems with computer systems.
  • Installing new software and hardware drivers and updating existing ones as needed.
  • Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed.
  • Changing configurations, settings and permissions to fix computer issues.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of computer applications and related systems, to escalate when necessary.
  • Complete project work assigned by management for hospital and/or Teleradiology workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional IT/computer or clinical certifications and related Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • IT experience for Level 1 troubleshooting and resolutions
  • 1+ years in clinical / healthcare environment preferred (Technologist, Medical Assistant, or Radiology background highly desirable).
  • Multi-application experience in an outpatient or hospital-based environment and familiarity with medical applications and workflow is preferred.
  • Experience with PACS, RIS, and dictation systems and corresponding workflows a plus.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and have excellent interpersonal, time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, within critical deadlines.
  •  Work cohesively and effectively with staff, patients and external agencies.
  • Work well in a team environment, solve problems effectively, and communicate clearly
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to respond quickly and fluidly, based on the issues at hand.
  • Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of HL7 and DICOM formats and use case.
  • Knowledge of basic IT auditing and security compliance.
  • Intermediate computer skill and navigation ability
