Job Description

Elevate your sales career as our Director, National Sales! In this key role, you'll develop and execute strategies to drive growth for our Canada Dealer brands. You'll manage national accounts, develop key relationships, and focus on achieving sales and margin goals.

The primary location for this role will be located in Ontario, Canada

Organizational Relationship

This position reports directly to the VP Sales and Marketing Canada

Accountabilities

  • Drives sales growth with a comprehensive sales strategy for the Dealer channel, identifying market opportunities and strategies leveraging the entire Dealer brand portfolio
  • Responsible for key account target sales and margin
  • Assist with business development projects which will evaluate, analyze, and formulate strategies for business growth
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and plans to achieve targets
  • Develop and foster customer relationships
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Qualifying new opportunities and moving them through the sales cycle
  • P&L responsibility for Dealer Channel
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Work with VP sales to provide accurate, ongoing sales forecasts for national accounts
  • New program development and rollout to market
  • Develop accurate and detailed sales metrics to facilitate effective business management, daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Coordinate weekly management meeting preparation
  • Work closely with Channel Marketing Manager to develop merchandising and elevated Dealer programs
  • Analyze and review sales trends by account and provide regular and ongoing updates to VP Sales
  • Work with VP Sales to develop and prepare annual sales targets for national accounts, by region/rep by brand
  • Coordinate all trade show and customer meeting event activity
  • Further develop and manage rollout of dealer training programs

  • Perform other duties as assigned at management’s discretion
  • Travel as business needs require

Education & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in a business or related field is required
  • 10 years’ experience in sales leadership role
